Intermediate Chess Club In-Person
This chess club is for kids ages 6-12 that are intermediate-level chess players. Kids should already have experience with chess and will learn the strategy and tactics of the game of chess including learning openings, more nuanced moves, and endgame strategy.
Please note, that if your child is a beginner, they should be signed up for the Beginner class on Mondays. For this intermediate class, students must have basic knowledge of chess, including what the pieces are, how they move, and how the game is played. If the instructor feels your child is in the incorrect class, they will be moved to the correct class. This allows both players and instructors the optimal classroom for learning.
When you sign up it will be for the full six-week session.
