Bridge Basics - for adults In-Person
This is a 6 week beginner bridge course based on the Audrey Grant system. After completion of this course you will be able to play bridge on a basic level with friends, private groups or beginner level club games.
Instructor Ellen Luchette is a Bronze Life Master.
Your course includes:
- concept and goals of bridge
- cards and their values
- bidding language
- bidding ladder
- playing with and without trump
- scoring system
- counting short suit values
- hand evaluation
- opening requirements
- responding to your partner
- defensive signals
- minor suits vs major suits
- practice hands
Class size MUST be at least 25 for us to start the course. So be sure to register.
