CANCELLED: Teen Advisory Group (TAG) Monthly Meetup - Stamped, Book Discussion In-Person
In August, we’ll be reading and discussing Stamped by Ibram X. Kendi and Jason Reynolds, a powerful and accessible exploration of racism and its history in America. Everyone who registers will receive a free copy of the book, available for pickup starting July 17. Just stop by any day after that to get yours! And if we have more than five participants, we’ll celebrate with free pizza during the discussion. Don’t miss this chance to read, reflect, and connect—register now and be part of the conversation!
Looking to earn community service hours and make a difference at your library? Join TAG — our Teen Advisory Group for students entering 9th through 12th grade! Meet other teens, help plan and support library events, create displays, lead book discussions, and more. Flexible volunteering, fun projects, and a great way to build your resume for Honor Society and college applications.
Monthly Meetings feature new activities every time — from event planning to creative projects — and you’ll receive community service hours for every meeting you attend and participate in.
New members are always welcome — bring your ideas and get involved! The group meets every second Monday of the month at 6:00 pm
