Introduction to Chess In-Person
This chess club is for kids ages 6-10 that are beginner-level chess players. Kids will learn the basics of the game of chess including what the pieces are and how they move, openings, and basic endgame strategy. Please note, that if your child is more advanced, they should be signed up for the Intermediate class on Wednesdays. If the instructor feels your child is in the incorrect class, they will be moved to the correct class. This allows both players and instructors the optimal classroom for learning.
When you sign up it will be for the full six-week session.
